Our Story
The Mabrey family’s involvement in banking began in 1906 when G.W. Mabrey joined the Board at Citizens National Bank in Okmulgee. Nearly 120 years and four generations later the Mabrey family has grown what is now known as Mabrey Bank into one of the oldest and most successful family-owned banks in the state of Oklahoma. With 15 locations spanning from Tulsa to Oklahoma City and across Eastern Oklahoma, Mabrey is now widely known as one of the best banks in Oklahoma for its high-quality financial offerings and personalized, friendly service.
Featuring prominent lines of business such as Private Bank, Commercial, Mortgage and Healthcare Banking, along with Treasury Services, Mabrey Bank has the resources to find a tailored solution for any size account or business. In 2023, Mabrey and its team donated more than $545,000 to community initiatives across 220 organizations in addition to thousands of volunteer hours served annually.

Our Chairman of the Board (or "Aunt Marilyn" - which she likes much better), Marilyn Mabrey Sulivant, had the honor to present on Mabrey Bank this week to the Okmulgee Lions Club.
It was a fantastic time with several Lions, who are longtime customers of Mabrey, sharing testimonials of times they received above and beyond service. We were glad to be a part of their meeting!

We launched our annual United Way Giving Campaign with a bankwide service project to Liftoff for Good! 🚀
Across all of our Mabrey locations, team members put together Financial Literacy kits which will be distributed to partner organizations in all 3 of our United Way territories: Tulsa Area United Way, Lake Area United Way Oklahoma and United Way of Central Oklahoma.
In total, our crew built 1,000 kits, helping families boost their money management. We appreciate our team members fueling our mission at Mabrey.

Thrilled to sponsor and play in Junior Achievement of Oklahoma's 25th Annual JA Golf Classic at Cedar Ridge this week. ⛳
We battled the elements and a challenging course for a 3rd place finish! More importantly, the event raised more than $94,000 for JA and its financial literacy programs which support Oklahoma students of all ages.
A special shout out goes to our Marketing & Communications Officer, Austin Gwin, who served on the JA Golf Classic Committee.

Our Jeans Day Fridays continue to impact the community!

We capped off our $2 Billion celebration this summer by doing what Mabrey Bank does best, serving our community.
Our team members nominated and voted on a nonprofit to receive a surprise $2,000 donation. We chose Emergency Infant Services (EIS) in Tulsa, an organization that offers assistance with basic needs items for children 5 years old and under whose families are facing financial and personal challenges.
We know this donation will be a gift to families in our community who need it most.

In 2015, Dan and Marilyn Mabrey Sulivant began a mission through the First Presbyterian Church of Okmulgee to provide children in need with a new pair of tennis shoes and socks. That first year, Dan and Marilyn gave away shoes and socks to 35 children.
Last week marked the 12th straight year of their tennis shoe drive. With the help of 38 volunteers, Dan and Marilyn welcomed 400 children and their families to get the necessities they needed for the upcoming school year. Each child received a new pair of shoes, three pairs of socks, two books, a Bible and toothbrushes.
While Marilyn might be our Chairman of the Board at Mabrey Bank, many in Okmulgee know her best as the "tennis shoe lady." She wouldn't have it any other way.
We are so proud of Dan and Marilyn for their selflessness, generosity, and showing us what it means to serve your community. Thank you to each of the Mabrey Bank team members who spent last weekend volunteering at the drive.
