Our Story
The Mabrey family’s involvement in banking began in 1906 when G.W. Mabrey joined the Board at Citizens National Bank in Okmulgee. Nearly 120 years and four generations later the Mabrey family has grown what is now known as Mabrey Bank into one of the oldest and most successful family-owned banks in the state of Oklahoma. With 15 locations spanning from Tulsa to Oklahoma City and across Eastern Oklahoma, Mabrey is now widely known as one of the best banks in Oklahoma for its high-quality financial offerings and personalized, friendly service.

Members of Mabrey's senior leadership team were in attendance as we served as a sponsor for today's State of the State address put on by the Tulsa Regional Chamber .

Our hearts were even bigger than our hats after attending and sponsoring The Demand Project's 5th Annual High Tee Brunch at The Golf Club of Oklahoma. The ladies of the Private Bank donned their best Kentucky Derby-inspired hats and more importantly were on hand to support The Demand Project's fight to end human trafficking, online enticement and child abuse.

We loved being a part of Scott Carter Foundation's HEROES Golf Classic yesterday at Indian Springs with a hole sponsorship and fielding a team led by Mark Mabrey. ⛳
Mabrey Bank has been a partner of the Scott Carter Foundation dating back to 2009, supporting the foundation's goals of funding childhood cancer research and providing fellowships for doctors in that field. It's incredibly important work, and we know this money is going towards finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Last week, we celebrated the career of the incomparable Renee Fredrick. She was so much more than a Commercial Lender for Mabrey Bank - she was an advocate for all of Muskogee, a tireless volunteer for organizations such as WISH and Bridges Out of Poverty, and a selfless leader for the Muskogee Rotary Club.
We were so blessed to have her on our team in Muskogee these last 22 years, and we know her impact on the Muskogee community is nowhere close to finished.

On Friday, we celebrated the career of Debbie Stephens, our Glenpool Branch Manager. For the last 21 years, Debbie has served in Glenpool with an emphasis on connecting to the community and treating our customers with integrity and professionalism.
What Debbie accomplished outside the bank, from her leadership roles on the Board for the Glenpool Chamber to her passion for volunteering throughout the community, built a foundation for her success at Mabrey.
As she enters retirement, we wish Debbie nothing but the absolute best and are so grateful for her work at Mabrey and dedication to our mission.

Jeans Day Check Delivery 💫👖
In July, our team members contributed $1,540 through our Jeans Day fundraiser to go towards sponsoring angels on our Wetumka location's Angel Tree this holiday season. The Wetumka Angel Tree has been a tradition at our Mabrey Bank branch for decades, and we love getting to provide a special Christmas morning for children and families in need across Wetumka.

We were thrilled to support the Cowgirls ROC Luncheon at the National Snaffle Bit Association's World Championship Show in Tulsa. This luncheon honors the women who lead and serve in the show horse community. Our Director of Private Banking, Heather Van Hooser, is a proud member of the NSRB and is showing here at the World Championships.
These funds raised will go towards NSBA programs like the Crisis Fund, Equestrians with Disabilities, education-based programming and animal welfare related activities.

Before the school year and the craziness starts, we treated the teachers and staff at Haskell Public Schools to lunch! We also gave each of them a little swag bag full of Mabrey goodies for a boost heading into the year.

STEP-ping up for the community! 👟
Our Chairman of the Board, Marilyn Mabrey Sulivant, held her annual Shoes, Socks and Books Mission last weekend at First Presbyterian Church of Okmulgee. Thanks to Marilyn's generosity and the service of 40 volunteers, 240 local children and their families received much-needed essentials before the school year starts.
We are so proud of Marilyn for her work on this mission each year and to our Mabrey team members who take time to volunteer.

Fiscally Fit 🧠💪
Our team in Okmulgee got some reps in at the mental gym this weekend for Okmulgee Main Street's Big Brain Trivia fundraiser in support of historic downtown Okmulgee. While "Let's Get Fiscal" didn't finish in first, we did earn major style points in our workout attire.

Ding Ding, That's the Bell! ✏️🎒
Last week, we wrapped up our 5th Annual School Supply Drive, and thanks to our generous customers and team members, it was a huge success! In total, we collected more than 2,000 supplies at our 16 locations, which will be distributed to schools and organizations in each of our communities to ensure students and teachers have the resources to be successful in the classroom.
This drive will support the Bixby Outreach Center, The Pencil Box, United Way of Central Oklahoma, Morris Public Schools, Haskell Public Schools, Okmulgee Public Schools, Weleetka Public Schools, Wetumka Public Schools and the Martin Luther King Community Center.
