Our Story
The Mabrey family’s involvement in banking began in 1906 when G.W. Mabrey joined the Board at Citizens National Bank in Okmulgee. Nearly 120 years and four generations later the Mabrey family has grown what is now known as Mabrey Bank into one of the oldest and most successful family-owned banks in the state of Oklahoma. With 15 locations spanning from Tulsa to Oklahoma City and across Eastern Oklahoma, Mabrey is now widely known as one of the best banks in Oklahoma for its high-quality financial offerings and personalized, friendly service.

In 2023, Mabrey and its team donated more than $545,000 to community initiatives across 220 organizations in addition to thousands of volunteer hours served annually.

In January, our team members raised $1,872.50 through our monthly Jeans Days fundraiser for Anna's House Foundation in Oklahoma City! Darren Dixon, our OKC Metro President, had the pleasure of hand delivering our donation to Anna's House Executive Director, Katherine Craig.

We were proud to be a sponsor of Saturday night's Trojan Tomorrow fundraiser benefitting the Jenks Public Schools Foundation! Three of our proudest Jenks residents and supporters, Kevin Short, Matt Hill and Chris Odom were in attendance to rep Mabrey Bank and show their Trojan pride.
Mabrey has supported the Jenks Public Schools Foundation for decades, and we can't wait to see how the wonderful administrators, teachers and families that make up Jenks Public Schools will put the funds raised on Saturday night to use!

We are excited to congratulate good friend, Heath Bringham of D&L Oil Tools, on winning the Matt Burtelow Award from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma - Tulsa, the highest honor given by the organization.
Our own Heather Van Hooser, Director of Private Banking, was on hand to help surprise Heath with the honor last week. Heath's work with BBBS over the last 7 years is inspiring, and we are proud to know him.

Happy Valentine's Day ❤️
This year, our Mabrey Engagement Team organized a Valentine Candy Grams fundraiser to benefit Youth At Heart, a Tulsa-based organization providing life-changing after-school care for children in socio-economically challenged neighborhoods.
Through Candy Gram purchases made by our team members, we were able to raise $940 for Youth at Heart!

Every athlete has a story, and we are proud to partner with VYPE Three Rivers to showcase the journeys of high school athletes like Brandon Simon Jr. right here in Oklahoma.
Brandon is getting ready for his senior baseball season at Okmulgee High School, his final one in the sport he has played since he was 3 years old. In the fall, Brandon will attend Langston University to play football and pursue a degree in Criminal Justice.
We wish Brandon and the rest of the Okmulgee Bulldogs baseball team a great season!

Our Muskogee team had a blast at Trivia Night benefitting the Education Foundation of Muskogee this past weekend. Commercial Lending Officer, Justin Calvert, serves as the Foundation's Treasurer and has been on the Board since 2021.
It was so fun to join several other local businesses in Muskogee to raise money for teacher grants in Muskogee Public Schools. We've supported the Education Foundation of Muskogee since 2009 and have seen how these grants can make a difference for Roughers in the classroom!
