Our Story
The Mabrey family’s involvement in banking began in 1906 when G.W. Mabrey joined the Board at Citizens National Bank in Okmulgee. Nearly 120 years and four generations later the Mabrey family has grown what is now known as Mabrey Bank into one of the oldest and most successful family-owned banks in the state of Oklahoma. With 15 locations spanning from Tulsa to Oklahoma City and across Eastern Oklahoma, Mabrey is now widely known as one of the best banks in Oklahoma for its high-quality financial offerings and personalized, friendly service.
Featuring prominent lines of business such as Private Bank, Commercial, Mortgage and Healthcare Banking, along with Treasury Services, Mabrey Bank has the resources to find a tailored solution for any size account or business. Merging that expertise with Mabrey’s customer-focused approach creates a complete experience that many appreciate. In 2023, Mabrey and its team donated more than $545,000 to community initiatives across 220 organizations in addition to thousands of volunteer hours served annually.

Photo No. 1 of the Mabrey Family: The exact year is slightly in question, so we accepted either 1984 or 1985. What a great photo of these Mabrey siblings!
Photo No. 2 of our Bixby Main branch: 2009! Our name didn't change to Mabrey Bank until 2015, but this one was a tough one!
Photo No. 3 of our Okmulgee branch: 1906! While we officially turned 102 this week, the Mabrey family's involvement with the bank dates back 120 years!

Due to the incoming winter weather, we have made the decision to close all Mabrey locations on Saturday, January 24, to ensure the safety of our team members and customers.
Currently, we plan to maintain normal business hours on Friday, Jan. 23. We will keep you updated on any additional hours changes throughout the weekend. Digital banking can always be done on our Mabrey Bank mobile app.

The Mabrey family began the purchase of Citizens Security Bank in Bixby in 1994 and eventually combined it with Citizens Bank in Okmulgee. Here is our HQ back in the year 20-- when we were still known as Citizens Security Bank!

Our 2025 MPACT Award winner is Allan Porras-Romero, our Assistant Compliance Officer.
Each year, this award is given to the Mabrey team member who volunteers their time and talent to contribute to the community while going above and beyond to make a significant and lasting impact.
Allan makes his MPACT by signing up for nearly every bank-sponsored volunteer opportunity. From the Bixby Outreach Center to Junior Achievement of Oklahoma and The Salvation Army Tulsa, OK, Allan is always generous with his time and truly cares for those he serves. Not only is Allan an asset to our team here at Mabrey, but also an asset to the community.
As a part of this award, Allan was given $1,000 to donate to the charity or community partner of his choice. Allan has chosen to donate these funds to El Centro: New Sanctuary Empowerment Center , an organization doing fantastic work serving as an empowerment center in the East Tulsa community.

Just before the Christmas holiday, members of our Tulsa-area teams got together to help the Bixby Outreach Center set up its Holiday Gift Shop to create the best experience possible for families in need shopping for toys during the holiday season.
In total, the BOC Holiday Gift Shop provided gifts for the parents for 183 children, who were able to unwrap a surprise this season.
Thank you to the BOC and our Mabrey Bank volunteers for making an impact on so many lives over the holidays!
